The list of works of art stolen from BiH contains 109 pieces of artwork (VIDEO).

The Center against Art Smuggling is the organizer of a conference that deals with the topic of illegal smuggling and tracking of art, touching upon this topic at this level for the first time in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aim is to exchange experiences, define the goals of future action, as well as to review the current situation, especially in the ??legislation. According to Interpol, 6.3 percent of the total illegal trade in art works in the world takes place in Southeast Europe.

Enver Mulabdic was expelled from his hometown of Bosanski Novi in ??1992. In his apartment he left valuable art works. The apartment was under watched over by his neighbor, who moved to Novi Sad in 1993. He also took with him Mulabdic's private collection, which Mulabdic started in 1977. Among the stolen works are four that were declared the National Monument of BiH. These works, says Mulabdic, are now in possession of a private collector Duro Popovic in Novi Sad and have been declared as the National Monuments of Serbia.
