The 25th anniversary of the murder of civilians of Stupni Dol marked today.

The 25th anniversary of the murder of 38 Bosniak civilians on October 23, 1993, by members of the Croat Defense Council, was marked today by laying of flowers in Stupni Dol near VareA!.

Seventeen women, five children, as well as a number of older people, were killed in this massacre. Eleven people were burnt alive.

The youngest victim who was murdered was a two-year-old Sabina Likic.

Three-year-olds Indira A1/2utic and Enis Likic were also murdered, as well as 74-year-old Salih.

Members of the Croat Defense Council raided the village and burned 58 houses and a local mosque. The village was completely destroyed.
