Meeting of Task Force for the Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings held.

Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina Gordana TadiA, who is the head of the Task Force for Fight against Trafficking in Human Beings and Organized Illegal Migration in BiH, today hosted an extraordinary meeting of this group to discuss current developments related to the situation with migrants in the territory of BiH.

The participants of the meeting discussed the strategic activities that BiH had defined as well as the readiness of institutions to tackle the problems associated with the increased number of migrants in BiH, each within their competencies and in joint coordination.

The collocutors stressed the need for priority solving of the protection of the state border, as well as improvements in the legislation regarding the treatment of international protection seekers, as well as the speediest possible signing of the readmission agreement with the countries of the region and further.
